Introduction

Welcome to the documentation site for JustPlatform. JustPlatform is a system designed around the platform engineering discipline to help developers and platform engineers implement cloud infrastructure quickly and securely.

Most existing solutions focus on containers, Kubernetes and workflows, with little or no support for other serverless, PaaS and data products. Data products in particular are very lightly supported and often the object model is weak and does not go far enough. With this in mind, we are building JustPlatform to to put a specific focus on better support for data products and build an extended object model for them. JustPlatform will of course be a complete product and cater for other aspects e.g. containers, workloads, networks, compute etc.

JustPlatform is made up of many products. The complete system can be used as an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) or you can integrate them individually or as a unit into your own IDP. Many of the products can be used in a portable fashion and provide great benefit on their own.

Licensing & Editions

We offer 2 editions for all our products.

A Community Edition which is free to use for personal and commercial purposes. This largely consists of Powershell modules and is portable but unsupported. A support plan is available for purchase for those who want some extra help and early access to new features.

An Enterprise edition, which is a paid offering featuring advanced APIs, CLI and Powershell modules.
